What is Savvy DocuGen?

Savvy DocuGen is a Salesforce document generation and e-signature connector built by Savvy Data Cloud Consulting. It fills your Word or PDF template with data from a Salesforce record, files the finished document on that record, sends it for signature through Circularo, and writes the signed PDF back to the same record.

Do we need to install a managed package?

No. Savvy DocuGen connects to your org through a standard authorised connection, so there is no package for your security team to review and nothing to install into production.

Whose e-signature account is used?

Yours. Signing runs through your own Circularo subscription, under your organisation's terms and retention rules. We never sit between you and your signed documents.

Will it work with our custom objects?

Yes. Any object your user can see, standard or custom, along with related records and lookup fields. If it is in your org, it can go in the document.

Where do the generated documents get filed?

Wherever you tell it to, per template - Files or Notes & Attachments. The signed copy is filed in the same place and named after the original, so the pair stay together on the record.

How large can a document be?

Up to 40 MB, including merged bundles. One thing to know: Salesforce itself caps Notes & Attachments at 25 MB, so anything larger has to be filed in Files. The product tells you this at the point you choose.

What happens if a signer never signs?

The document stays open and its status stays visible on the Salesforce record, so the owner can see exactly who it is waiting on without leaving the record.

How long does it take to set up?

Connecting your org and your Circularo account takes minutes. The work is in the first template, mapping fields and placing signature marks, and after that each new template is a copy-and-adjust job.

Can we test it in a Salesforce sandbox first?

Yes. Savvy DocuGen connects to any number of sandboxes and production orgs. You can run your real templates against real records in a sandbox and watch the whole thing work before anything touches your live org.
